Gay Night Club in Mexico City

Rico 🎤

Say hi, queen, to Rico, 👑 a colorful gay bar located in the heart of Mexico City’s lively Zona Rosa neighborhood. You can find Rico at Calle de Niza 45, Juárez, Cuauhtémoc. What makes this bar unique and special is the music they play. Being a small place, the intimacy you feel at the rhythm of the music is super hot. 🔥

It is one of my favorites if you want to get a handsome Mexican guy or a drop-dead gorgeous lady if you are a girl. Ay ay ay ay! As soon as you step inside Rico, you’ll feel the excitement of being part of the LGBTQ+ community. This is one of the top gay bars in Mexico City!

Regarding prices, Rico is very affordable because if you arrive early, you don’t pay for cover! However, if you arrive after 11 p.m., you will be charged $50 Mexican pesos. The great ambiance makes Rico a popular destination for casual hangouts with friends or dancing the night away. If you’re looking for a place to unwind after work or to let loose on the weekend, Rico promises an enjoyable experience that captures the essence of Mexico City’s cool gay bar scene.

Drag Queen Night! (I took it during party time; sorry for the quality) 🙊

Soberbia 👩‍🎤

Let’s party all together at Soberbia! It is a well-known gay bar right in the middle of Mexico City’s busy Historic Center. You can find it on Republica de Cuba Street. It’s a friendly place where everyone comes together to celebrate and be a part of the LGBTQ+ community.

I’ll tell you a secret: We, the Vibe Adventures team, love going to this place. We believe that this and another one I will mention below are the best in the downtown area of Mexico City!

The truth is that the buckets of beer are a little more expensive, but what turns you on more is not the alcohol; it’s the music and the shows that take place every night. It’s a must-visit for gay bars in Mexico City! Soberbia’s average consumption is $200 Mexican pesos per person and up. Indeed, this place gives you a comprehensive taste of Mexico City’s lively gay bar scene.

Party Time at Zona Rosa

Cabaretito – Punto y Aparte 🎊

Padam, Padam!! 🎵 It’s cabaretito time! This is a great gay bar right in Mexico City’s Juárez area. You can find it at Calle Versalles 86. It’s a popular place where everyone hangs out and has a good time with excellent drinks.

You’ll feel the friendly vibe and see everyone having a blast. Literally, cabaretito is in the most party area of the famous pink zone. From the moment you enter, you can notice its decoration and different levels, an atmosphere that goes from pop music in Spanish, reggaeton, and pop in English to cumbias and salsas, and a karaoke zone, among others. It depends on the level you get into.

Be careful with the prices of the place, as the people who work there can be a bit of a nuisance. A small commercial to remind you to watch out for drinks offered by someone else, no matter where you go or what country you are in. Remember to protect yourself and always make a lovely and friendly community.

At Cabaretito, drinks won’t break the bank. The average consumption in this place is $150 Mexican pesos per person and up. The chill vibe and good prices make Cabaretito a top spot. Experience Cabaretito and get ready to slay in one of the best bars in Mexico City!

People Dancing in Zona Rosa

Baby 🎉

I’m beautiful in my way cause god makes no mistakes!🎵 Are you feeling the vibe? Then, what are you waiting to come here? This is a popular gay bar located in the Londres 179, Juarez, Cuauhtemoc. Another Zona Rosa’s gem.

Personally, I haven’t visited this bar, but I’ve been told that the best thing about this place is the amount of good-looking boys and girls that go there. At Baby, drinks won’t cost you too much. Cocktails are usually between $6-9 USD, and beers are about $4-6 USD (according to friends). Baby gives you excellent taste and an extensive panorama of gay bars in Mexico City.

Cheers to the love!

El Marra Salón (Marrakech Salón) 🏳️‍🌈

Also known as Marrakech Salón, El Marra is a supercool gay bar in Mexico City. You can find it at Republica de Cuba 18, Historic Center. In fact, this place was the last bar I went to, and I don’t really remember the prices since we were coming from another party, and the drinks I had didn’t let me see around very well. 🙊

However, it is a very small place, and once it is full of people, you don’t miss the opportunity to dance body to body with very nice and incredible people on the dance floor. At El Marra Salón, drinks are affordable. The great advantage of this place is that the prices are the lowest compared to other places. You can find antojitos for $25 Mexican pesos, snacks and sweets for $5, and drinks for $25. El Marra Salón is a popular spot for spending magic moments with friends or dancing to LGBTQ+ anthems. How about that?!

La Puri 🌈

An icon and the queen of all gay bars in Mexico City. Also, it’s a top gay bar right in Mexico City. You can find it at Calle República de Cuba 17, in the lively Historic Center area. Looking for shots, drag queen shoe nights, lots of fun, nice music, handsome boys, and pretty girls? Then, this bar is your perfect option. Yaaas!

Its sister bar is Soberbia; if you go first to Soberbia and then to Puri, they let you in for free. Also, every Thursday, there is no cover! At La Puri, shots and snacks also cost from $25 Mexican pesos up. The chill vibe makes La Puri a top spot for LGBTQ+ parties. If you are ready to sing and dance the best pop anthems, this place is for you!

La Puri’s religious decorations are a must-see. Sing Like a Prayer by Madonna at the top of your lungs!

In sum, the gay bars in Mexico City offer something for everyone, making everyone feel happy and safe. You will find a cozy place for drinks with friends, a fun place to dance, or just a spot to fall in love; these bars have it all.
