Benefits of self-care
I would like to start this part by showing you my self care routine. Hopefully, you can take some tips home with you. It doesn’t matter where you work, or where you are from. The important thing is to implement a lifestyle that allows you to be happy. Stay healthy, and of course, travel a lot!
“My self care has a lot to do with mindset and spirituality. However, it is always good to carry out a care routine for our body. As Plato said: “Mens sana in corpore sano” (Healthy mind in a healthy body).
Mainly in the mornings, I do stretches that help me to remove the body tension of lying in one position in bed. Then I eat my breakfast and go to the gym. I like to go in the mornings because of all the energy that I accumulated with breakfast and caffeine, I make the most of it at the gym.
In the afternoons and in an office environment,
I always drink a lot of water, since drinking water is one of the habits that used to be the hardest for me. However, for health reasons, drinking water helps with physical hydration both externally and internally.
I always try to do my daily self-care no matter what. This is through meditation, morning, physical exercise, breaks, hydration, and managing and balancing my work times. All this, to avoid a burn-out or some kind of mental breakdown that leads me to lose all my self-care.
Honestly, my job is too flexible with work hours, so I find that I can have the freedom to carry out my routines mentioned above. However, I think it is important to prioritize mental health over work. This allows us to have a check and balance in our lives in our minds. Every job is different, however, I believe it is good to set goals, objectives, and decisions to always take care of our health and well-being”.
As you can see,
Having a self-care routine brings benefits that help you have mental stability in a world full of people with stress and emotional imbalance.
As human beings, we know that the habits we have tend to be self-destructive and complicated. However, through perseverance and practice, we can improve in all areas of life. Being in a state of mindfulness can help us realize where we need to improve as people, not to please others or teach lessons to others, but to learn to know ourselves better.
All these practices and some other self care tips will show us the benefits that can be in our lives by being aware that we must take care of our mental health and our health in general. Travel, live, express yourself, and always try to see the best sense in life.

Traveling benefits
Interestingly, traveling is one of the healthiest self care tips. We know that the economic situation when traveling can be a determining factor. However, there are always places even close to where we live to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the cities.
Some of the main benefits:
Improving Self-Esteem
Improving how you feel about yourself is something most people want to do. No matter how good you already feel about yourself, there’s always room to feel even better, and traveling can help with that. Why does travel make you feel better about yourself? Because every trip, even if it’s just a fancy cruise, brings its own challenges.
The more unexpected or spontaneous the trip is, the more it helps us deal with tough situations. Going to a faraway country and experiencing a new culture will probably throw more challenges your way, especially if you’re traveling alone. When you realize you can handle whatever comes your way, it makes you feel better about yourself. Plus, you’ll come back with new stories to tell, making you feel like you’ve had a unique and special experience.
Reducing Stress and Increasing Well-being
Travel definitely makes you feel better, but does it make you less stressed? Well, even though traveling can have its tough moments, most of the time, unless something really bad happens, it’s the kind of stress that’s actually good for you. It gets your heart pumping and your adrenaline flowing. And after a little while, that stress melts away, and you feel super happy, calm, and relaxed.
That mix of excitement and nerves you get when you book a flight or plan a trip is really good for your brain. Plus, once you’re actually at your destination, whether it’s soaking up the sun on a beach, hiking in the mountains, or exploring a new city, your stress levels go way down. You can finally forget about your everyday problems and just enjoy yourself, which helps you feel recharged and ready to go back to your normal life.
